Many thanks to those of you who've commented over the last few days. I'd like to reply individually but there seems to be a new technical issue that prevents my doing so.
So thank you particularly to Marian, Izzy, Nikki, Lynn and Jonathan - I've read your nice remarks and am grateful for them.
This is not the first time I've been unable to comment on my own blog, although it's a new reason this time, some sort of excess security tangle between the platform and my browser. I'll see what I can do to resolve this, although I often find there's nothing you can do but let the system sort itself out in due time.
The Blogger platform as a whole seems to have been a lot more unstable these last few weeks. Others may have noticed this, too. I'm doing what I can to back up.
Anyway, I'm back from my little trip and the next post will be all about it. I think there's quite a lot to entertain and amuse, and it didn't turn out as masc as I thought, thank goodness, but first I must sort through hundreds of photos ...
Houston, we have a problem |
Thanks for reading. Have a good weekend.

ReplyDeleteI hope the technical issues are sorted without too much faff & fuss.
ReplyDeleteIf it's of any help, last time Blogger was having a moment*, it seemed to be down to the 'third party cookie' security in Chrome based browsers (that's most, although there are Firefox, Safari, etc that use a different security system).
( * To use a local phrase "it's gorra right monk on" 😁).
It was Blogger vs Firefox that is the issue. Blogger vs Safari seems to work, hence my belated reply. Thanks for your inputs and suggestions, Lynn. Sue x
DeleteCan you remember what I suggested before? Because I need it myself again and now can't remember. :/
ReplyDeleteHi Jonathan, I'm able to reply at last.
DeleteI'll have to look back through the comments as I can't quite remember the issue (blogs appearing on blogroll?) and I've been all tied up with the current problem. Will get back to you when I've located it.
